AlmavivA has developed a new SEM – Smart Energy Management – solution for “modern” and “smart” cities, with a view to cutting back energy use, while protecting the environment and reducing costs. 

 

SEM is a solution that can be seamlessly integrated with other asset and facility management platforms, ensuring the rationalization of energy consumption by the building/plant system, through analysis, monitoring and control. 

 

SEM allows the streamlined and economical acquisition of data from a number of buildings, which data is then processed and interpreted and transformed into crucial information for optimizing consumption. The data can be retrieved in real time on a computer or mobile device and consulted in any place at any time. 
The online processing of the data can support decision-making, with regard to the rationalization of public and private energy use management. 

 

SEM includes an advanced Business Intelligence solution and provides a Building Energy Management System dashboard for managing implementation, besides an effective Back Office system. 

 

SEM has already been selected by important Central Government entities, along with transport, banking, utility and mobile telephone companies. 

 

AlmavivA has concluded a partnership agreement with ABI Lab, a Centre for Bank Research and Innovation, for the purpose of further investigating the issues relating to the environmental impact of banking activities through the benchmark analysis of the energy behavior of bank branches.
