“Preparàti al Futuro” (“Ready for the Future”) - AlmavivA partners Confindustria to support competitive Italian manufacturing on a global scale

The term “Industry 4.0” - now a part of everyday language - expresses a vision of the future in which industrial and manufacturing companies can employ digital technology to increase their competitiveness and efficiency through the interconnection and cooperation of their own resources - premises, personnel, information - both within the factory and along the entire value chain.

The means and not the end, digital technologies are at the heart of Industry 4.0 and in the last decade have completely transformed the tertiary sector, driving it towards the so-called Fourth Industrial Revolution. The transformation promoted by the Industry 4.0 model is a key challenge for the Italian manufacturing system, for our economy and for the future of the Country as a whole.

For businesses it is a unique opportunity to promote the great tradition of Italian manufacturing, currently second in Europe in terms of importance.

With Industry 4.0 - Preparàti al Futuro, Confindustria, along with partners such as AlmavivA, continues to tangibly support companies with an integrated system of initiatives: targeted training, support for accessing the measures set out by the national Plan for Industry 4.0, and Digital Innovation Hubs throughout the country.

A Workshop entitled “Operational tools, technologies and support services for businesses” is taking place today at the head office of Unindustria for Rome, Frosinone, Latina, Rieti and Viterbo.

Alessandro Mantelli, Head of Enterprise Architecture, Mobility and IoT Solutions, will be representing AlmavivA.
