AlmavivA, in a consortium with Cardno Agrisystems Ltd (GB) and Astec Global (Eire), has been awarded a contract enabling the Bosnian Ministry of Agriculture to develop specific skills and competencies in the agricultural sector.

The aim of the project is to collect and analyze data, for the following purposes:
  • conducting an agricultural census
  • monitoring farm performance
  • sampling/surveying operations, for speedy access to the data.
The project, which will be implemented in Bosnia Erzegovina, will enable the Bosnian Ministry of Agriculture to upgrade and conform to the European standards. The tendering process was entirely financed by the EuropeAid Fund.

This is the first contract won by AlmavivA in connection with the new corporate project aimed at encouraging participation in international tenders launched by entities such as EuropeAid, World Bank, Asian Development Bank, UNDP. A first significant step, which will enable us to replicate our expertise in the target countries, such as Turkey, the Balkans and Eastern Europe.
