The conference, which will be held this afternoon at the Faculty of Engineering of La Sapienza University of Rome, aims at defining the state-of-the-art of Business Continuity for enterprises looking to identify the infrastructure and critical processes for business operational purposes, and to acquire information on and about the new technologies available on the market.

Organized in collaboration with the AEIT Foundation and the Faculty of Engineering of La Sapienza University of Rome, the conference targets a range of professionals, such as IT, energy and facility management consultants, but also design engineers and engineering firms.

The following will be attending and speaking on behalf of AlmavivA: Stefano Capelli, New Business Project Manager, and Mauro Cellini on the theme of "Efficiency and reliability of complex infrastructures", with a special focus on the importance of energy efficiency and the SEM-Smart Energy Management solution, developed by AlmavivA and installed at the Group’s key sites.

SEM is a platform accessible via the Web and available on mobile devices, allowing real-time consultation of the energy consumption of enterprises, based on a Building Energy Management dashboard.

SEM is based on a Business Intelligence solution applied to the entire measurements database, to monitor consumption trends and to optimize output based on energy dynamics.
