AlmavivA Contact: necessary financial balance

Rome, 26 May 2016 – The urgent implementation of the AlmavivA Contact reorganization plan is absolutely necessary to ensure the company’s sound business growth in the current market scenario.

As highlighted by the launching of the Procedure, the longstanding use of defensive solidarity instruments – which entail a considerably high cost for the Company – is absolutely insufficient to tackle the ongoing structural crisis and the announced employee redundancies.

To date, the assessment of the type and duration of the social shock absorbers, the availability of which has been underlined by the Deputy Minister for Economic Development Mr. Bellanova, may be considered solely in the presence of parallel proposals aimed at tackling – as soon as possible and in a structural manner – the no longer sustainable financial imbalance of AlmavivA Contact, in order to safeguard both the Company and its employees.
