Nunzio Calì, CIO of AlmavivA's ICT Division, will take part in the presentation Conference of the results of the 2013 Research by the Cloud & ICT as a Service Observatory, held in the Carlo De Carli Hall of the Milan Polytechnic.

In the current economic crisis, Cloud technology could be used to drive innovation in the country. The aim of the Research conducted by the Cloud & ICT as a Service Observatory, and sponsored by the Milan Polytechnic's School of Management, is to assess the practical effectiveness of the phenomenon, based on an analysis of the Italian market and including its potential benefits. The Research also aims to outline the principal processes put into place by businesses, with regard to the introduction of Cloud technology, defining the evolution of the supply chain models typical of ICT providers and assessing the impact of Cloud on ICT Management.

AlmavivA is engaged in developing and broadening the range of its IT services through the new paradigms of Cloud Computing, offering innovative technology infrastructures and unique competencies, in Italy, capable of ensuring enhanced-quality services, also in terms of operational  continuity, privacy and data security.

AlmavivA's Cloud services, delivered through its HyperCED® by several Data Centers throughout Italy, respond to the increasing demand for flexibility, reduced spending for infrastructure and real-time access to data.
