Elio Catania appointed new President of Assinform, Alberto Tripi is the Vicarious Vice President
Milan: the General Meeting of Assinform, a member association of Confindustria, the Employers' Confederation of Italy, grouping the top Information Technology companies operating in Italy, has just elected the new President of the Association for the next four year term:
Mr. Elio Catania succeeds Mr. Paolo Angelucci, while the President of AlmavivA, Mr. Alberto Tripi, has been appointed Vicarious Vice President.

The newly appointed President Mr. Catania, in presenting the program guidelines for his 4-year term of office, highlighted how the gap in competitiveness, which has been hampering and holding this country back for too many years now, preventing its development, can be bridged only by seriously improving the quality and encouraging true discontinuity in the use of Information Technology and the culture of change in the business sector, Government and society in general.
