AlmavivA among the promoters of The Big Hack-HackNight@Museum: discover the results of the programming marathon organised by the Campania Region

The best innovation-oriented talents excelled at the Capodimonte Museum in Naples last weekend: a two-day programming marathon during which developers, hackers, makers, IoT experts and technology buffs teamed up to develop prototypes of hardware and software projects, while sharing their ideas, creativity and skills. In tackling the challenges proposed by the Campania Region, the Latium Region, AlmavivA, Asos, the Capodimonte Museum, Cisco, Soresa, ST Microelectronics and Tecno, they created tangible projects and applications in important sectors affecting the daily lives of millions of people – including mobility, health and cultural heritage promotion.

The challenge launched by the Campania Region together with Almaviva, which was highly appreciated by the young innovators, consisted in creating a tool for interacting with tourists – app, chatbot, etc. – based on the geo-data present on the I.Ter platform, as well as data available on-line on urban mobility instruments. The aim: to find a solution that enhances the most innovative digital technologies, such as data visualisation, geo-caching, geo-fencing, IoT and augmented reality.
