Support and visibility to the new hiring Plan: AlmavivA is the IBEC Partner

AlmavivA is launching a series of actions to ensure support and visibility to the hiring Plan: from classified ads in the principal recruitment channels, to the circulation of dedicated flyers and brochures, the inauguration of a Master’s Degree Program in “Interoperability in Government”, in partnership with CNIPA and La Sapienza University of Rome, and participation in dedicated sector events, such as the Java Day, .Net Campus., etc.. We are also assessing partnerships with the 3 Rome-based universities and with the University of L’Aquila, aimed at guiding the training and selection of young people while they’re still at university. Forms of financial aid have also been identified for both training and work integration.

Among the planned actions is the partnership between AlmavivA and IBEC, the Italian BEST Engineering Competition.
The event was launched several years ago by BEST – Board of European Students of Technology – a no-profit Europe-wide student network, founded in March 1989 in Berlin in response to the need for communication, cooperation and exchange between the students of technological faculties throughout Europe.

Since 1989, BEST has rapidly developed – with regard to both membership numbers and range of activities – with the goal of contributing to the international training of students and promoting mobility in Europe and, indeed, worldwide. This is possible thanks to the collaboration between students from 79 among the most prestigious European universities. Today BEST has branches in 30 countries and an active membership of 2,500, targeting over 900,000 students.

In Italy, BEST is present at the Rome universities of “Tor Vergata” and “La Sapienza”, at the Polytechnics of Turin and Milan, “Federico II” University of Naples and the University of Messina.

This year, the IBEC event will be held at the Faculty of Engineering of Tor Vergata University and features a particularly daunting contest: the  GMC(Global Management Challenge), the most important international business strategy tournament worldwide, at which highly charged teams of university students face each other simultaneously in 30 different countries, which has prepared for BEST a complex Business Game that requires much in-depth preparation by the contestants.

Find out more about the event, where AlmavivA will set up its own infopoint, at the BEST Tor Vergata website.
