Finsiel for children.

Finsiel has designed the Portal of the "Vittore Buzzi" Children's Hospital providing its skills and expertise to this important child health facility in Milan, free of charge.

The "Vittore Buzzi" Children's Hospital is Milan's child health center of excellence. Founded in 1897, over the years it has preserved its original mission unchanged: to study and cure children's diseases, in the best possible manner, before, during and after birth.

In December 2004, Finsiel proposed to the ICP Istituti Clinici di Perfezionamento hospital trust (to which the Vittorio Buzzi Hospital belongs) the development of a state-of-the-art health portal, with a view to providing concrete support to the development and improvement of healthcare services to the public and, in particular, to children.

To manage the portal and provide the services Finsiel uses the Rome-based Data Center and the Finsiel Ge.Co. Online proprietary environment.

The first version of the "Vittore Buzzi" Children's Hospital Portal was launched on 9 March 2005 and it is currently under construction.

However, the following sections are already available on the website:
  • About the hospital, featuring the key information about the facility
  • Services, with information on the Hospital's inpatient and outpatient departments
  • Children, this is the area dedicated to the smaller children, where videos, games and fairy tales, written in a simple and straightforward language, provide basic information on the hospital, its services and certain cure pathways
  • Family, providing general information and much practical advice to parents on child hospitalization.
A new section was recently added on ONLUS OBM Ospedale dei Bambini di Milano, a non-profit organization that supports the Hospital, through which it will soon be possible to make online donations.

Undergoing completion are a section dedicated to women and another one for the medical consultant staff, collecting and presenting papers, update material, press releases and other items of medical interest.
