Finsiel new partner of the OpenSPCoop project

LINK.IT, founded in 1995 by a group of technical experts and researchers of the Department of Informatics of the University of Pisa, was the first company in Italy to promote Linux and the Open Source solutions in an Enterprise environment. Since 1997, Link.it products have been used to start the production of several among the most complex Linux solutions developed in Italy, including the first Linux-based business solution by Telecom Italia, BusinessWeb.

In 2001, Link.it products were adopted by the regional government of Toscana for managing its eGovernment platform. Link.it, therefore, has participated in all the phases – from the initial trials to the production – of the Application Cooperation platform, developed in connection with the CART project, acquiring a unique experience, at company level, on the SPC-related Application Cooperation topics. Link.it has recently implemented OpenSPCoop, a project aimed at achieving the full implementation of the SPCoop specifications of CNIPA, addressing both the central components (SICA Register) and the peripheral components (Application Services Domain Gateway).
