AlmavivA and FPA bring together some of Italy’s major government bodies at Villa Malta

Today, cyberspace security is one of the primary requirements that need to be addressed to ensure the national interests of a country. To do this effectively, governments need to put into place a cyber security policy capable of meeting not just the technical and technological needs of the problem, but of grasping its social, legal and economical aspects as well.

The major government bodies have become a sensitive objective for cyber attacks, which could cause considerable losses in economic and technological terms.

How can these bodies comply with the Digital Security plan for Government, in order to enhance security in the fields of information and digital communications?

Which elements of complexity need to be put into place in the process reorganization and re-engineering processes?

Which organizational, technological and cultural elements are needed to develop an effective protection plan?

How can analysis solutions be integrated to develop adaptive and predictive forms of security based on global data and cases? How can we spread the culture of security within an organization?

All these issues were addressed last evening at a meeting in a historical villa in Rome, between the representatives of major Italian government bodies, sponsored by AlmavivA and FPA, to gain an insight into the breadth and complexity of this new dimension and better understand the real impact it can have on the national interests, also by looking into the experience of other countries, as a first step in developing an effective cyber security policy.
