65,000 participants, 6,000 “Women in pink”: yet another successful “Race for the Cure”. AlmavivA rewarded for being among the largest company teams

Some 65,000 participants from all over Italy, including almost 6,000 “Women in pink” who’ve undergone breast surgery, participated in this year’s traditional Sunday morning run in the heart of Rome, which ended the three-day “Race for the Cure” event dedicated to the fight against breast cancer, currently in its 18th edition.

Numerous male and female colleagues with children and friends took part in the initiative, and also this year AlmavivA received an award for being among the largest company teams with roughly 600 participants.

In line with the Group’s social responsibility principles, AlmavivA has been collaborating with Susan G. Komen Italy for a long time, by organising several different initiatives during the course of the year in order to help promote and strengthen a culture of prevention in its reference communities.
