AlmavivA joins forces with Google and becomes an Authorized Reseller for Google Apps

Rome, 21 July 2014 - AlmavivA announced that it has signed an agreement with Google, to become an Authorized Enterprise Reseller for the Google Apps for Business suite and Google Geo Platform.
Google Apps for Business is a suite of online tools created to help companies and their employees communicate and work together more effectively. All work is automatically stored on the cloud. It is also possible to access email, the calendar, documents and internet sites, and to work securely wherever you happen to be and irrespective of the device being used.

Antonio Amati, General Manager of AlmavivA's IT Division stated that "With the Google Apps Reseller programme, we will be able to supply Google Apps for Business to our customers". Google Apps for Business offers simple and powerful communication and collaboration tools for any size organisation; all of which is hosted by Google, in this way reducing set-up and maintenance costs to a minimum and bringing down IT costs. Thanks to Drive for work, one of Google Enterprise's most recent additions, companies can, for example, benefit from a file sharing and collaboration tool with unlimited storage space, a reporting system and advanced security checks.

With Gmail, Google Calendar and Hangout, all employees are always connected and can interact with ease. Furthermore, using Google Docs and Google Sites, which include the processing of texts, electronic sheets, presentations and tools to create websites, you can share files and work with colleagues in real time, while keeping all the different versions of documents well organised and available from anywhere and at any time.
The Google Apps Reseller programme includes resellers, consultants and independent software suppliers that sell, support and customise Google Apps for Business for their own customers.

AlmavivA has received the relevant training, support and implementation service from Google, as well as access to the APIs – application programming interfaces – so as to integrate Google Apps into the business operations of its own customers.
