AlmavivA and Rai have signed an agreement to test new multimedia and interactive applications.

Rome, 27 May 2013 - The President of AlmavivA Group Alberto Tripi, and the General Director of Rai, Luigi Gubitosi, have signed a Collaboration Agreement to test digital multimedia and interactive applications targeting members of the public and businesses.
AlmavivA is the number one Italian ICT services provider and longstanding partner to Central Government, with a constant focus on the research and testing of innovative technologies.

The Agreement will be implemented by Almawave, AlmavivA Group's innovation company, and will focus on the development of:

  • multimedia applications for Government, providing new services to the public on the various available media.
  • innovative "text analytics" applications capable of analyzing, in real time, the content of text messages circulated on the media.
  • technology solutions dedicated to people with hearing impairments and speech disorders.

The fact that two highly innovative Italian companies pool their know-how and competencies to develop new solutions proves, once again, that Italy has the top-level resources in a strongly competitive sector, such as emerging technologies.
