AlmavivA’s Transportation Division has developed, for Ferrovie dello Stato Italiane Group, as part of its RUN – Human Resources Network – system, the SIV solution for managing the group’s HR evaluation processes.

Requirements – The challenge
Ferrovie dello Stato Italiane Group, consistently with its strategic business objectives, HR policies and Group Systems Plan, needed to streamline and digitize certain HR-related processes, developing a standard integrated solution also aimed at valorizing its “human assets”.
The context was particularly daunting, due to the number of companies and resources involved, complex organization and processes and sheer number of IT components.

AlmavivA’s Transportation Division has supported Ferrovie dello Stato Italiane Group in defining the Performance Management model and process and the Personnel MBO. The SIV – Integrated HR Evaluation System – application solution has been built on this model, through the implementation of the Cezanne Enterprise application.
The solution integrates with the Group’s HR processes and systems, through the consistent and effective management of the technologies, facilitating the management of talents and skills. The SIV system can identify and monitor the strategic HR population, for linking individual and corporate objectives, with a view to rewarding people based on their actual achievements and identifying any improvements in support of growth.

Reference architecture
The SIV solution completes the application architecture of Ferrovie dello Stato Italiane Group’s HR Management Systems. The solution is integrated with the RUN – HR Network – system, which is the SAP master system preserving the centralized management of all the HR and organization’s databases.
Access, for all users, is via Linea Diretta, the Portal of Ferrovie dello Stato Italiane Group.

The SIV solution is a significant addition to the HR development tools at the disposal of the competent HR structures and the Management, enabling the definition and formalization of the HR objectives and the analysis and evaluation of individual performance and achievements, in respect of the different roles, verifying the consistency of the single objectives with the corporate strategies.
