The Almawave analysis of tweets about the World Cup 2014 continues. In the period from 3 to 10 June, around 6.8 million tweets were collected in 6 different languages (Italian, English, Spanish, Portuguese, French and German): the most frequently mentioned National teams are Germany, with 20.1%, followed by England (17.8%) and Brazil (13.2%).

The majority of discussion about the players is in reference to injuries and those who weren't selected: like the German, Marco Reus (18%), mentioned more than anyone else due to Löw's decision to include Shkodran Mustafi, defender for Sampdoria, in his place. In second place is Cristiano Ronaldo (8.3%), with much discussion around his precarious physical condition, and third is Neymar (7.8%) due to the injury he sustained during training.

From the Italian players, the most frequently mentioned is Mario Balotelli (27.9%), with the announcement of his marriage. Second is Andrea Pirlo (16.7%) for the great comments from the Italian Manager, and third is Insigne (7.1%) for his outstanding performance in the friendly against Fluminense.

At the top of the list for the managers is Hodgson (24.4%), with the English squad, commenting on how his team intends to secure a win against Italy. Second, is the manager for the USA, Jurgen Klinsmann (11%) for his interview with the New York Times and his failure to select Donovan. Then, in third, is Holland's L. Van Gaal (10.8%).
