The infrastructure is “served” ... on HyperCED

Today at Scalo Prenestino TSF presents HyperCED, a project aimed at transforming the infrastructure from business cost to driver for TSF, which means, for the Customer, flexibility and adaptability to the contingent needs based on the pay-per-use concept.

Today, businesses spend over 60% of their time and budget to purchase servers, which are unused most of the time.
With the as-a-service IT procedure, businesses can focus on their core business according to a perspective in which IT will be increasingly comodity-like, therefore effectively deliverable as a service.

Furthermore, we should consider the project’s impact in terms of savings for energy and industrial resources – suffice it to mention the cutbacks with respect to the use of precious materials – although the initial investments, in terms of overhauling the applications not “conceived” for virtualization purposes – are perhaps equal to the savings achieved, and therefore the actual savings should be viewed as spread out in time.
