Today, Kyoto Club presents its “105 Good Energy Efficiency Practices Made in Italy". AlmavivA Green is included among the best Italian experiences

This afternoon a conference will be held, at the European Commission Representation, to present the “105 Best Energy Efficiency Practices Made in Italy”, published by Edizioni Ambiente and edited by Kyoto Club, with a number of Italian success stories in the field of energy efficiency.
Over a hundred concrete cases in a broad range of fields, from manufacturing to government, from residential and non-residential buildings to the third sector, and including energy services and consulting, communications and teaching.

The cases portray a part of the Country that has chosen a more sustainable and fair future. Among the cases selected by the Kyoto Club is AlmavivA Green, a project launched by AlmavivA Group in a move towards eco-sustainability.

Energy efficiency is considered a key element for outlining a sustainable future for the EU, and is one of the pillars of the European economic development policies.

We are reminded by Gianni Silvestrini Scientific Director of the Kyoto Club – that the European Commission documents state “Efficiency First”, and energy efficiency policies have truly contributed, together with the economic crisis, to stabilizing primary energy consumption by the EU at levels slightly below those of 1990. Our country too is moving in this direction and is constantly reaping a great deal of small successes, despite the absence of an integrated industrial policy project and natural access to credit.”

The Kyoto Club is a non-profit organization that groups enterprises, entities, associations and local authorities, committed since 1999 to achieving the greenhouse gas emission reduction targets set by the Kyoto Protocol, based on the EU decisions and the Paris Agreement of December 2015.
