The project, co-financed by the Ministry, forms part of the “Technologies for smart communities” cluster

The industrial research and training project, Città Educante (2014-2017), headed by AlmavivA, will be presented to the Minister for Education, Universities and Research, Stefania Giannini, on Tuesday 10 February (6.30 p.m. at the Ministry).

The project, co-financed by the Ministry, forms part of the “Technologies for smart communities” cluster. This is a national network involving nine regional authorities and over 90 partners, including companies, research centres and local administrations, all working together in the field of Intelligent Communities.

Città Educante proposes new approaches to education based on cutting-edge IT technology, the internet and social networks, and aimed at all ages, from children right through to adults (lifelong learning ).

AlmavivA will head the project and partners include: Rai, UNIMORE, the University of Trento, the National Research Council (CNR), and the Reggio Children Foundation's Loris Malaguzzi International Centre, along with 14 SMEs.
