“Local Public Transport: accessibility and disability services”

On 5th June, the Roma Eventi Piazza di Spagna Conference Centre in Rome will host the “Local Public Transport: accessibility and disability services” convention, organised by ASSTRA with the assistance of FAND (Italian Federation of National Disabled Associations) and FISH (Italian Federation of Overcoming Handicaps), and in collaboration with Club Italia.

AlmavivA is one of the private sphere players invited to present the evolution of accessibility, among other things, in the Transport sector. Stefania Di Serio, Channel Partner Manager for the Transportation Division, and Enzo Jamundo, Manager of the Platform for Passengers with Reduced Mobility at AlmavivA/Club Italia, will illustrate the Sala Blu experience offered by the Italian Railway Network (RFI). Their talk will focus on Sala Blu online, the latest system created as part of the Rete Blu family. This is the new assistance request channel completing the suite of RFI systems dedicated to passengers with reduced mobility, responding to W3C accessibility requirements, with particular emphasis on the WAI Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.0.
