The largest European exhibition dedicated to digital inventors, designers and artisans
Robots, drones, 3D printers, bitcoins, gurus and start-uppers: from 27 September until 5 October, Rome will become the innovation capital with Innovation Week.
Held at the Parco della Musica, the possible future with the leaders of the digital revolution: an entire week dedicated to innovation that will culminate from 3 to 5 October with the second edition of the Maker Faire Rome, the largest European exhibition dedicated to digital inventors, designers and artisans.
During this great celebration of innovation, the University Roma Tre will be presenting some instruments and prototypes that were thought up and produced in the Research Laboratories at their Department of Engineering and Architecture.
The Roma Tre stand that has been developed around the slogan "Internet at Home", is where AlmavivA will present SEM Smart Energy Management, in the version that was developed for the international Solar Decathlon competition that was won in Paris in July. This SEM version – rechristened Dwell – was developed working in conjunction with the University, to respond specifically to the needs of the residential sector.
Arduino hardware was used at the Maker Faire, thus testing a new integration between SEM and this platform.
Besides consolidating the fruitful relationship with Roma Tre, taking part in the Maker Fair Rome is proof of the role that AlmavivA intends playing in the field of energy efficiency applied to the residential sector.
