With its constant ability to deliver innovative technological solutions, AlmavivA has been aiding the digitalisation of the Italian agri-food sector for over thirty years and continues to support its modernisation process through the National Agricultural Information System.

In collaboration with AlmavivA, the Smart AgriFood Research Facility of the School of Management of the Polytechnic University in Milan concluded its study dedicated to the impact of digital innovation in the agri-food sector. The aim of the study – based on in-depth analyses, case studies and hundreds of interactions with players of the entire production chain – was to enquire how technology can contribute to the Italian sector’s growth and competitiveness, in particular by intervening on two major aspects: improving the product quality and enhancing the efficiency of processes.

The issues will be discussed in Milan on 23rd January, when the final results of the study will be presented during a conference gathering experts and decision-makers of the agri-food sector. Fulvio Conti, Head of the Agriculture and Environment Practice, will be intervening for AlmavivA.
