Full-time commitment from January to July 2014

Ferrovie dello Stato Italiane Group, in partnership with AlmavivA, Bombardier, Roma Metropolitane, Ansaldobreda and Ansaldo STS, a Finmeccanica Group company, is ready to invest in young engineers with a passion for the transport system, by granting scholarships for the high-level professional training needed in an industry undergoing large-scale technological development.

This collaboration with a renowned competence center for the development of rail engineering skills, such as the Faculty of Civil and Industrial Engineering of La Sapienza University, ensures the addition of high scientific value to the postgraduate training program. The partner companies can guarantee the necessary consistency with the relevant business and entrepreneurial culture requirements.

The commitment will be full time, for seven months, from January to July 2014, with the possibility of alternating classwork and visits to the construction sites and facilities, on-the-ground training and meetings with the FS Group and partner company Managers. Furthermore, the Master's Degree Program also includes internships at one of the partner companies.
The Program offers a multidisciplinary approach, specialising in the various technical fields - planning, design, operation, maintenance, marketing - and featuring cross-disciplinary studies by integrating engineering, legal and economic aspects. There will be a lot of project work and the teaching staff will include a large number of managers and engineers from the partner companies.
