The National Citizens Portal, developed by Finsiel, has been awarded the 2005 Premio Cittadini Online Award by the Movimento Difesa del Cittadino (Citizen Protection Movement), for having highlighted significant initiatives at central and local government level.
The award ceremony will be held in Rome, on 30 June 2005, at the Centro RomaIncontra (Via Piemonte, 32 - beginning 10.30 a.m.) as part of the Pubblic@mministrazione e cittadini online Conference, organized and sponsored by the MDC, in partnership with the Consumers' Forum, on which occasion the MDC will also present its Report on "Government and Citizens Online".

 

Besides Italia.gov.it, the prize has also been awarded, as an experience of excellence, to "Il Sistema integrato di comunicazione del Comune di Roma-060606" (The integrated communications system of the Municipality of Rome - 060606) and to the "Progetto Yes -Young E-Safe: la scuola del consumo" (Project Yes - Young E-Safe: consumer education), dedicated to young consumers, sponsored by the regional government of Tuscany, in partnership with the regional governments of Lazio, Abruzzo, Marche and Umbria.
