The Sadel - AlmavivA Group development and innovation project has been admitted to the Emilia-Romagna region call for funding aimed at promoting research and investment in the territory in high added value sectors.

The project involves an innovative railroad signaling system that is installed on board the train which checks the integrity of the rolling stock, communication to the ground system and localization. It has the advantage of reducing the cost per mile of signaling technology on the railroad line, thereby allowing it to be implemented on secondary lines. Creation of the system anticipates 22 new hires by the company.

The regional call in the transportation area promotes solutions for sustainable mobility and advanced technologies. “In line with the European green deal and our Pact for Labor and the Climate, we direct resources toward the green transition and digital innovation with clear procedures and certain deadlines”, explained alderman for Economic Development and Labor, Vincenzo Colla.

Among the winners of the call are other excellent organizations in the Emilia Romagna territory: Ferrari, Smeg SpA, BEMA SRL (Industrial Automation), Intersurgical, Spindox, Energica Motor Company S.p.A. and Silicon Biosystems, S.p.A.
