Almawave sponsor of the 57th Annual Meeting of Association for Computational Linguistics
From 28 July through 2 August in Fortezza da Basso in Florence, the 57th Annual Meeting of the Association for Computational Linguistics will be held, the most important international scientific association for computational linguistics.
One of the major Italian players in speech & text recognition technologies applied to customer experience management and advanced analytics, Almawave will be at the meeting in Florence, the first ACL conference held in Italy and the largest ever: 660 presentations in the main conference in 6 parallel sessions, 21 between workshops and satellite conferences, more than 3,200 people registered.
The scheduled topics include conversational agents capable of dialogging with human beings, machine translation, the use of “deep learning” methods, and also ethical aspects connected to language technologies. An extremely current topics is the new technologies to combat improper and offensive use of language on social media and to manage conversations between doctor and patient.
