The two days promoted in Naples by Motore Sanità to talk about regional healthcare will kick off in the afternoon. Tomorrow, Antonio Amati (General Manager of AlmaviviA’s IT Division) will speak on behalf of AlmavivA in the session “Telemedicine as a Tool for Change in the National Healthcare Service: Towards a New Kind of Medicine”.

“In Italy, there are more than 300 telemedicine solutions active in the various regions,” says Amati, “but what we see is poor integration with the healthcare eco-system and a poor contribution to improving the quality level of the services which are provided. To ensure that it becomes a tool which serves healthcare operators, we must integrate telemedicine with next-generation digital platforms, designed with a green field approach and supported by well-established technologies, like AI and NLP, in order to effectively assist clinical staff and support regional and central decision-making processes.”
