Women’s Alpine Skiing World Cup: MOOVA Back in the Spotlight in Cortina

20-01-2023

The Almaviva platform was chosen by CAV, which coordinates the mobility management working group for the Women’s Alpine Skiing World Championships, to be held January 20-22 in Cortina d'Ampezzo.

The Veneto Region presented the operational mobility management plan described in the memorandum of understanding between all stakeholders yesterday.

A well-established union and tools that both institutions (Municipal Police, Municipality of Cortina, Municipality of Belluno, etc.) and road and highway operators are already familiar with.

The “situation room”, a hub for collecting and managing mobility information, has been set up at the CAV headquarters in Mestre. Traffic and events are constantly monitored from the control room in order to provide people with all useful information, such as parking areas and points of interest, in real time.

Almaviva, a partner of the Cortina Foundation, confirms its commitment to support the sport through innovative solutions designed for major athletic events and to facilitate mobility in the mountains.
