After the 2021 Cortina Alpine Skiing World Championship experience, thanks to the Moova Platform, they provide Concessioni Autostradali Venete with a Smart Mobility Service in ‘As a Service’ mode dedicated to the Giro d’Italia legs in Veneto and Friuli Venezia Giulia.

Moova is the technologically advanced, modular and flexible AlmavivA platform conceived to enable new paradigms of mobility and to meet the growing need to manage complex ecosystems.

The Situation Room, set up by CAV with the technological support of AlmavivA in Sala A. Vespucci in Marghera will also be made available to other mobility managers - Anas, Veneto Strade, Autostrada Brescia-Verona-Vicenza-Padova, Autovie Venete, Friuli Venezia Giulia Strade - with the goal of supporting them in ordinary management of the network and any critical issues, but also to provide information to the users.

During the Ravenna-Verona leg (Friday, 21 May), the Cittadella-Monte Zoncolan leg (Saturday 22), the Grado-Gorizia leg (Sunday 23) and the Sacile-Cortina d'Ampezzo leg (Monday 24), the Situation Room operators will have a single and integrated view with information in real time on the hosting territory.

Dedicated services such as a real-time view of the race positioning, information on the traffic conditions (accidents, interruptions and detours, weather conditions, slow-downs) and on mobility associated with the event (availability of parking in the start and finish towns of the leg, limited traffic zones, EV charging stations, public transportation stops and timetables).

AlmavivA has also created an Operator APP for CAV dedicated to the service staff of the start and finish towns of each leg so they can send the traffic information found in the territory to the Situation Room, geolocalized and certified in real time, as well as a Web APP dedicated to end users, fed by the Situation Room for traffic information throughout the four legs in Veneto and Friuli Venezia Giulia. The same information will also be available on the Giro d’Italia APP.
