AlmavivA, partnering the PoliMI Smart AgriFood Research Facility, is helping to present the 2018 study.

The Smart AgriFood Research Facility, promoted by the Milan Polytechnic School of Management in collaboration with AlmavivA, is striving to become the point of reference in Italy when it comes to gaining a full and in-depth understanding of the digital innovations currently transforming the agricultural and agri-food supply chain, by combining the main financial-managerial, technological and agronomical skills required.

Agriculture 4.0, food quality, traceability and startups will be the themes at the centre of the Convention, scheduled for 12th February in Milan and intended to illustrate the main results of the 2018 study conducted by the Smart AgriFood Research Facility.

Through the Head of Agriculture & Environment Practice Fulvio Conti, AlmavivA will present a solution for the traceability of agricultural products - based on public blockchain and an APP designed for consulting information - created by the company in its capacity as a technological partner of MiPAAFT and AGEA.

Ever since its outset, AlmavivA has been driving the digitalisation of the Italian agricultural sector and continues to support its competitiveness through digital technology. The company’s focus now lies in researching new solutions for the integration of agricultural ecosystems, with the full involvement of all parties involved in the supply chain: businesses, certifying authorities, consortia and public administrations.
