Milan, January 17th: AlmavivA at the presentation meeting of the 2019 Research Study of the Blockchain & Distributed Ledger Research Center of the Polytechic University of Milan

Blockchain and distributed ledger, reportedly among the most interesting digital trends for the forthcoming years, are attracting growing media attention.

The innovation introduced by blockchain allows for effectively integrating established technological solutions to create a “value” transferral system that cannot be censored, is independent from central guarantors and is potentially anonymous. The revolutionary impact of this technology could determine a significant paradigm shift and the consequent onset of the Internet of Value: a system for exchanging values in a programmable way without intermediaries.

The presentation meeting of the results of the 2019 Research Study of the Blockchain & Distributed Ledger Research Center of the Polytechnic University of Milan, made in collaboration with Almaviva, will afford an opportunity for a comprehensive debate among experts of these technologies, at a time when businesses are consolidating many initiated projects, including proofs of concepts and business-oriented applications.

The event is scheduled for January 17th at the Bovisa Campus of the Polytechnic University, Milan. AlmavivA will participate in the round table meeting during which the results of the Research Study will be debated with Giuseppe Bertone, Head of Blockchain & Distributed Ledger Technology Practice.
