09-08-2019

“The value of the operation is the perfect synergy of AlmavivA and Wedoo in the proposals to the market” explains Antonio Amati, General Manager of the IT Division

AlmavivA acquired control of Wedoo, Italian digital innovation agency created in 2007, with offices in Turin, Detroit and Shanghai, which designs digital strategies focused on the interaction between man and technologies, with significant expertise in the production in CGI, Computer Generated Imagery, in High-End solutions for the use of 3D in real time, in augmented reality and virtual reality applications.

The operation led to the acquisition of the current companies Wedoo S.r.l. and Wedoo LLC (USA), through the establishment of a Newco (“Wedoo Holding”) to which all the shares were conferred. The signing of an increase in capital allowed AlmavivA to acquire 55% of the share capital with an investment of around one million euro.

“The value of the operation is the perfect synergy of AlmavivA and Wedoo in proposals to the market” - explains Antonio Amati, General Manager of the AlmavivA IT Division - “thanks to this new acquisition we are monitoring with greater focus the new technological trends and the requests of increasingly selective clients in the industrial context. AlmavivA, which has a well-established presence in the digitization of the public administration, thanks to Wedoo is now also stronger in corporate value proposition”.

“A multi-year and tested partnership, - states Alberto Clara, Chief Executive Officer of Wedoo - allows us to offer additional, integrated services starting today, with a truly unique wealth of proposals”.

The importance of this agreement is also found in the completion of the chain of value, in particular with the integration of the Wedoo expertise in the area of the SPC Sistema Pubblico di Connettivita [Public Connectivity System], of which Lot 4, awarded to the Consortium led by AlmavivA, is in fact devoted to the creation of portals and online services for the PA.
