How can we make Europe a more secure place? What impact does EU-financed research have on security? From tomorrow this will be discussed in Brussels, at the SRE2018 two-day event promoted by the European Commission and the Austrian Ministry for Transport, Innovation and Technology.

The Security Research Event is an opportunity to discuss the results of European research and innovation activities in terms of their ability to provide a tangible contribution to the everyday work of thousands of Homeland Security professionals. 800 participants from all over Europe are expected to attend, including researchers, industry professionals, institutional representatives and leading political figures.

The section dedicated to tackling criminal and terrorist activity will reveal the findings of Forensor, an innovation project co-financed by the EU Horizon 2020 programme and managed by a consortium of eleven partners - including AlmavivA - from Belgium, France, Greece, Israel, Italy, Portugal and Spain.
