“AlmavivA Accelerates Acquisitions and is Set to Double Revenue to 2 Billion”: CEO Marco Tripi in Il Sole 24 Ore

05-04-2022

“In 2021 we achieved one billion in turnover. An important milestone (with EBITDA 4 times that of 2017) and a backlog (orders, ed.) of approximately €2.5 billion, the result of the uniform growth of all our primary areas of activity. But we aren't slowing down. Rather, we’re getting ready to take off.” These were the words of Marco Tripi, CEO of the AlmavivA Group, in an interview with Andrea Biondi for Il Sole 24 Ore.

“At the moment,” specifies Tripi, “we’re working on a new industrial plan that aims to at least double revenue by 2025, with further acceleration of growth in Italy and 50% of our turnover expected to come from international activities, on track to become the number one Italian group for information technology in the world.”

Acquisitions, internationalization, and an eye on the future: "I second the words of Minister Colao when he maintains that innovation companies must have the courage to accelerate the digital transition, adopting a culture and method based on risk. The essence of Colao's message, to raise ambition and expand our vision, is in keeping with the strategic horizon of our development plan.”

In Italy, “in 2022 we expect one thousand new hires in the IT sector, in accordance with the growth plan.” And “new activities in the United Kingdom, Saudi Arabia, the US, Finland, Switzerland, Belgium, and other countries, in addition to our deeply rooted presence in Latin America,”concludes Tripi.
