Today sees the first meeting of the Master’s course in Railway Infrastructure and Systems Engineering organised by “La Sapienza” University in collaboration with AlmavivA

175 candidates took part in the selection process for admission to the Master’s course, testament to the excellent response the initiative continues to receive from young Italian engineers.

The 15th Master’s course in Railway Infrastructure and Systems Engineering, run by Sapienza University with the support of AlmavivA, plus the Ferrovie dello Stato Italiane (Italian State Railways) Group, Bombardier, Alstom, Siemens Mobility, Hitachi Rail Italy, Ansaldo STS, Ferrotramviaria, Roma Metropolitane, Salcef, ZF Italia and For.Fer.

175 candidates took part in the selection process for admission to the Master’s course, testament to the excellent response the initiative continues to receive from young Italian engineers.

The Master’s course, which aims to develop expert technicians capable of satisfying the new requirements of administration bodies, engineering companies, research centres and companies operating in the railway and mobility sectors, offers training that merges the technical, juridical and economic aspects of a complex and multidisciplinary organisation such as the transport system.

This morning marked the first day of the Master’s course taking place at the “La Sapienza” University Department of Civil and Industrial Engineering, located in via Eudossiana in Rome, with up to 40 students - selected according to an assessment of their degree titles and their admission tests - taking part.

Stefania Di Serio, Strategic Partnership Manager of the AlmavivA Transportation & Logistics Division, will be representing AlmavivA.
