Data Architect

The ideal candidate is passionate about digital innovation and has experience in designing and implementing big data solutions.
Must enjoy working with a team, be able to work under pressure, and have the desire to develop and expand his or her skills.
Experience: at least 5 years in the role described.
Must possess knowledge of the following:
- Enterprise design in Hadoop big data ecosystems (open-source, Cloudera, Hortonworks) with knowledge of HA issues acquired over the last 3 years
- Data and object storage technologies (HDFS, HBase, Cassandra, S3, Trino/PrestoSQL)
- Query tool technologies (Hive, Impala, etc.)
- Batch, stream processing, and messaging technologies (Spark, Kafka, Flink, Yarn, Nifi, RabbitMQ, etc.)
- Scheduling technologies (Airflow, Oozie)
- Cloud-native DevOps technologies (Kubernetes, Istio, Helm, etc.)
- Big data programming languages (Java, Kotlin, Python, etc.)
- Good level of written and spoken English.
The following are of additional value:
- Ability to analyze technical and business requirements
- Propensity for coaching activities
- Strong aptitude for keeping abreast of technological innovations
- At least 3 years of experience working with the Java Enterprise framework
- Knowledge of open-source products, licensing models, and models of software maturity
- Member of the open-source community as a contributor.
