AlmavivA was one of the first ICT Italian companies to obtain the Social Accountability System Certificate – SA 8000 in 2007, an immense achievement spurring it to abide by and disseminate the principles of social Responsibility each single day.
Among the social solidarity initiatives pursued by AlmavivA, a special place is reserved for the NPO Fondazione Asphi Onlus, a foundation that for over thirty years has been promoting the autonomy and inclusion for people with disabilities in school, work and society, through the use of digital technologies.
In 2016 we launched the Click4All experimentation project with ASPHI, a do-it-yourself IT kit enabling the disabled community to make full use of computer technology. And since 2019 AlmavivA has been at the Foundation’s side, supporting the research, experimentation and distribution activities examining the role of IT in the context of the everyday life and care of fragile or dependent elderly individuals.
