Underpinning our business strategy with rock-steady ethical principles. This is what is entailed by social responsibility for the AlmavivA Group. A tangible and efficient way to handle the social impact that our business activities have both within our company and on our local area. Our employees are our most essential strategic resource: we respect their rights and foster their professional development. At the same time, we regard our suppliers as qualified partners helping us to attain excellence in our core activities and we always strive to exceed customer expectations.
Each single day, AlmavivA creates its own Business Culture with its people-centric approach, its set of shared ethics and its transparent respect of rules and regulations.
AlmavivA was one of the first ICT Italian companies to obtain the Social Accountability System Certificate – SA 8000 in 2007, an immense achievement spurring it to abide by and disseminate the principles of social Responsibility each single day. It is also a member of the United Nations Global Compact programme, the largest corporate-citizenship initiative in the world emerging from a need to promote a sustainable global economy which respects human and labor rights, safeguards the environment and combats corruption.
Among the social solidarity initiatives pursued by AlmavivA, a special place is reserved for the NPO Fondazione Asphi Onlus, a foundation that for over thirty years has been promoting the autonomy and inclusion for people with disabilities in school, work and society, through the use of digital technologies. Together in 2016 we launched the Click4All experimentation, a do-it-yourself IT kit enabling the disabled to make full use of computer technology.
