Alberto Tripi

President

An entrepreneur, he was born in Rome in 1940 and graduated in Electronic Engineering from La Sapienza University of Rome.

He worked for 17 years at IBM in important management positions in Italy and abroad.

In 1983, he left IBM Europe (based in Paris), where he was in charge of operations for developing the services market in Europe, Africa and the Middle East, to found COS/ISI Italsistemi per l'Informatica (now AlmavivA), an IT and telecoms company.

Today, he is the majority shareholder and President of AlmavivA S.p.A. - The Italian Innovation Company.

Alberto Tripi has also held executive positions in Confindustria since 1977, as the President of Anasin, Federcomin and Confindustria Servizi Innovativi e Tecnologici and currently serves on the General Council of Confindustria and is the Senior Deputy Chairman of the Association of IT Companies.

Currently part of the Confindustria General Council and serving as Head of ICT Strategy and Projects at Anitec-Assinform

Since February 2017 he was appointed Delegate for Cyber Security in Confindustria. Already on the Board of IRI, since 1997, for 5 years and until it was wound up.

He served on the Board of CNEL, participates in the Leonardo Committee and is a member of the Council for the United States and Italy.

He is also a partner and member of the General Board of ASPHI Onlus, a Foundation set up by various Entities and Companies to support the activities and projects for integrating disabled people through the use of ICT technology.

Marco Tripi

CEO

Marco Tripi also holds the positions of President of Almawave and AlmavivA do Brasil.

He was born in Rome in 1969 and has a degree in Economics.

In June 2018, he was elected by the Shareholders' Meeting of Asstel as a member of the Governing Council for the two-year period 2018-2020. In the period 2008-2015 he served as Vice President.

In September 2016, he was appointed Vice President for the 2016-2020 term, and was placed in charge of Digital Transformation at Unindustria Lazio, where he had previously held the position of Vice President in charge of developing the Digital Agenda and Simplification.

Since June 2013 he is in the Board of Assonime (Association of Italian Joint Stock Companies) for 2013-14.

In July 2012 he was appointed Vice President of Unindustria Roma e Lazio, with the executive authority to develop the Digital Agenda and Simplification.

In March 2010, he was appointed Vice President of the Executive Board of Confindustria's Assinform - Associazione Italiana per l'Information Technology.

In 2008, he became a member of the Executive Board of the Unione degli Industriali e delle Imprese di Roma, the Employers’ Union of Rome.

In 1999, he joined the Cos Group, where he was appointed first Marketing Manager and then, in 2001, Chief Executive Officer.

From 1997 he worked at the Marketing Department of BNL Multiservizi, the BNL Group IT services company.

Antonio Amati

General Manager, IT Division

Born in Rome in 1958, he graduated in Philosophy and holds several degrees from other European universities, as well as a Master in Strategic Planning from the Business Management School of Bocconi University.

Besides being General Manager of the IT Division, he is also Sole Director of AlmavivA Digitaltec, President of Lombardia Gestione and Vice President of Almawave since 2013, and has been serving on the Board of AlmavivA since 2008.

He is also a member of the Board of SIN, a public-sector company controlled by Agea and part-owned, among others, by AlmavivA and IBM, member of Cor, a joint committee set up by the Cnipa and various enterprises to manage the SPC contract for ensuring interoperability between public administration entities and Vice President of the Information Technology Section of Unindustria.

Since 2005, as Director of the Central Government Area of AlmavivA, he has managed the company's participation in a number of major IT projects, such as the electronic passport, the National Services Smartcard, and the Regional Services Smartcard of the Region of Lombardia.

In 2002 he was appointed Director of the Government Division of Finsiel.

From 2000 to 2002, he served as CEO of Voinoi (Acea Group).

In 1999 he was appointed CEO of EDS PA, dedicated to the public sector. In this company he was responsible for launching the interoperability services of Consip, the Ministry of Justice, INPS, INAIL INPDAP.

In 1995, he joined EDS Italia as Sales Manager.

Between 1986 and 1995 he held increasingly important positions in Database Informatica, up to the post of Director of the Strategic Business Area.

Andrea Antonelli

President, AlmavivA Contact

Andrea Antonelli also holds the position of Sole Director of AlmavivA Services and President and Gerente of Almacontact.

He was born in Rome in 1954 and holds a degree in Electronic Engineering.

He is Vice President of Asstel, the trade association for telecommunications companies registered with Confindustria, for the two-year period 2018-2020.

From 2004 to 2006 he worked with BT Albacom as Operations Manager, in charge of network activities, IT, Customer Care and security.

From 1999 to 2004 he was employed by WIND, occupying various positions of responsibility, ranging from SW Development Manager to Customer Care Manager.

He began his professional career in 1979 with Contraves Italiana and has since built up his expertise in Information Technology by working in such large companies as Andersen Consulting, System Management, NCR.

Nunzio Calì

Deputy General Manager, Operations-Infrastructure and Application Services Division

Nunzio Calì also holds the position of General Manager of AlmavivA Digitaltec.

Born in Turin in 1958, he graduated in 1981 in Informatics from the University of Turin with maximum distinction.

From 2007 to 2011, still in Fiat, he held the positions of Deputy CIO of Fiat Group Automobiles S.p.A., CIO of Fiat Group Purchasing s.r.l. and ICT Global Leader for Fiat-Chrysler, for the industrial area. In this role, reporting to the Chief Manufacturing Officer and the Group CIOs of Fiat-Chrysler (FIAT S.p.A.), he guided the IT convergence of the Fiat and Chrysler processes and systems, also defining and implementing the relevant integration roadmap.

In 1998 he joined Fiat Auto, where he occupied positions of increasing responsibility. In this period he developed innovative B2D (business to dealer), CRM and Business Intelligence & Analytics projects, with a view to relaunching the worldwide sales network.

From 1982 to 1998 he worked for several important Information Technology groups, such as Olivetti, DEA (market leader in Automation and Metrology) and Sesam (joint venture Digital and Comau).

At Sesam he worked as General Manager of the Industry and Services Business Unit.

Christian De Felice

Chief Financial Officer

Christian De Felice, born in Rome in 1970, graduated with honors in Statistical and Actuarial Sciences from the University of Rome “La Sapienza” and is a member of the Italian National Society of Actuaries.

Served as Financial Manager of Safilo Group from 2002. He played a role in the Group’s reorganization and definition of a new financial structure, in the wake of the leveraged buy out in 2002.

He designed, implemented and managed the financing plans, and took part in the performance and management of the equity capital transactions. He was responsible for the quotation in the MTA in December 2005.

During 2009, he participated in the Group’s financial rebalancing project, which culminated in the acquisition of a stake by the Netherlands-based HAL Investment fund, handling relations with the investor, banks and supervisory authorities.

Between 1999 and 2002 he served as Head of Treasury and Finance at e.Biscom Group, where he participated in the company quotation project in the New market.

He has carried out M&A activities in Italy and abroad. Between 1998 and 1999 he worked at Omnitel, where he was Treasurer.

He managed the Project Financing operations related to the company’s start up. Between 1996 and 1998 he worked at Banca di Roma Londra, in the Capital Market Dept as a Trader with responsibility on the Italian Government Bond Market and the IRS.

He also carried out risk control and pricing activities, in connection with bond issuing operations.

Smeraldo Fiorentini

General Manager, Transportation & Logistics Division

Born in Avellino in 1961, he graduated in Information Technology from the University of Salerno with top grades.

In 2018 he was appointed President of Sadel SpA, a national market leader in on-board train Passenger Information Systems, which joined the AlmavivA Group in the same year.

In 2013 he was appointed Deputy General Manager of the Transportation Division. He also sits on the Board of Almawave and is CEO of Ferst, a company part-owned by AlmavivA and Ferrovie Emilia Romagna.

In 2011 he was called to the position of Chief Commercial Officer of the Transportation Division, being promoted to Head of the Division in 2012.

In 2009 he joined AlmavivA Group’s TSF, where he was in charge of the Ferrovie dello Stato account, and in 2010 he was appointed Bid Manager, in respect of the Ferrovie dello Stato tendering procedure for the outsourcing of the Group information systems.

Between 1999 and 2009 he provided organization and management consulting services, working with various multinational market leaders, such as Arthur Andersen (where he was Senior Manager between 1999 and 2002), Ernst & Young (Director from 2002 to 2004) and Deloitte (Partner between 2004 and 2009). In particular, as Partner at Deloitte Consulting, he was responsible for the 'IT Advisory' Service Line, with some important Top Clients such as the Ferrovie dello Stato Group.

Between 1984 and 1999 he worked for a number of important Information Technology groups, including IRI, Stet and Telecom Italia.

Marina Irace

Chief Human Resources Officer

Born in 1970 in Positano (Salerno), she graduated in Arts, with a specialization in History of Contemporary Art at the University of Rome (La Sapienza).

In 2000, she was employed by Cos Group – a leader in the CRM sector – in its Human Resources Division. The Group later merged with Finsiel, an historical IT consulting and solutions group, leading to the formation, in 2005, of AlmavivA The Italian Innovation Company, the new leading nationwide ICT company. In this new context, Marina Irace plays a crucial role in the complex operations of integration and harmonization of the AlmavivA Group companies, in various positions within the Human Resources Department.

In 1997, she joined Experian as head of training.

After earning a Master’s Degree in General and Museum Didactics, she worked for several years in a number of major Rome museums.

Gianfranco Previtera

Chief International IT Services Market Officer

Gianfranco Previtera also holds the position of President of AlmavivA Tunisie, AlmavivA de Belgique and LIT.

Born in Palermo in 1958, Gianfranco Previtera graduated, with honors, in Statistical and Economic Sciences from the University of Palermo. From 2008 to 2009 he was in charge of the Software Division at IBM Italia, after which he was appointed Vice President of Strategic Initiatives, a position he kept until July 2012.

In 2004, he took over the management of the organization responsible for the Public Sector market in South Europe. After spending a period in Paris, where he continued to follow the Distribution market on behalf of IBM EMEA’s Global Services organization, in April 2002 he was appointed Vice President of Systems Sales at IBM South Region, with responsibility for the entire IBM offering of servers and storage for these markets.

From 1998 to 1999 he was in charge of Railways at IBM EMEA (Europe-Middle East and Africa), after which - between 1999 and 2001 - he was appointed Director of Distribution, the IBM South Region division dealing with Distribution, Transportation and Travel.

Between 1993 and 1995 he worked as Client Manager of Inail, then in 1995 he was placed in charge of the Transportation sector until 1997, when he was appointed Manager of the Travel and Transportation sector at IBM South Region (Italy, Spain, Portugal, Greece, Israel, Turkey).

In 1986 he joined IBM, where he began his career first as system administrator for ENEL, then as Client Manager of Ferrovie dello Stato, serving in the latter position from 1987 to 1993.

Francesco Renzetti

General Manager Staff

As General Manager of the Staff Department, he is responsible for the following Areas: Procurement and General Services, Legal Affairs, Corporate Affairs, Quality.

He is a Director and Secretary of the Board of Directors of AlmavivA, and CEO of AlmavivA do Brasil.

Born in 1962, he graduated in Law, with honors, in 1985 and qualified to practice as a lawyer in1989.

He joined AlmavivA in 2000, and was appointed Director of Legal and Corporate Affairs, occupying positions of increasing responsibility within the Group over the years.

From 1989 to 1999 he was a partner of the Persiani & Associates Law Firm, in Rome.

In the same period he held the position of Assistant at the Institute of Procedural Law, "La Sapienza" University of Rome.

From 1985 to 2005 he has held numerous public (elective and other) positions.

Piero Rossini

Deputy General Manager, Government, Financial Services, Telco, Utilities & Industry Business Unit

Born in Rome in 1958, has graduated in Electronic Engineering from La Sapienza University of Rome in July 1984.

He also holds degrees from several European universities. In 2013 he was appointed Deputy General Manager of the Government, Financial Services, Telco, Utilities & Industry Business Unit.

In 2011 he was appointed Deputy General Manager and Chief of Operations for the Center-South of Italy.

He joined AlmavivA in 2007 and was placed in charge of the development of ICT services and solutions for the Defense and Security market.

In 2001 he was appointed Sales & Development Manager of the Public Administration market at Enterprise Digital Architects, a company that operates in the ICT solutions and services market.

He sits on the Strategic Board of Enterprise DA, the governing body of the company, which sets its market strategies and is chaired by the President of the company.

In 1990, he joined EDS Italia, where he held various positions of increasing responsibility: Telecom Italia consultant for its foreign associates, Development Manager for the Italian and European market service centers, Account Executive for the Italian telecoms market.

He was also a member of the Management Team, chaired by the President of the company, which is the governing board of the company and sets its market development policies and strategies.

He began his professional career in 1985, as Telecom Italia Account Manager at System & Management, a company operating in the IT solutions market.

Valeria Sandei

CEO, Almawave and Strategic Marketing Officer for AlmavivA Group

Valeria Sandei currently also holds the position of President and CEO of Almawave do Brasil President of Almawave USA and Vice President of PerVoice subsidiary.

Born in Venice in 1976, she graduated in “Economics of Financial Markets" from the Bocconi University in Milan.

In July 2013 she was appointed Strategic Marketing Officer for AlmavivA Group.

In 2011, building on its record growth over the years, Almawave decided to export its ground-breaking technology using the Brazilian market as a springboard and establishing a new company, Almawave do Brasil.

In 2007, she was appointed CEO of the newly-established subsidiary AlmavivA Consulting (now called Almawave), AlmavivA Group's Consulting and Business Intelligence innovation arm.

In 2004, she joined AlmavivA Group, dealing at first with marketing and business development projects and following the acquisition of Finsiel Group, from the due diligence process to the strategy plan.

She began her career at JP Morgan, working on Private Banking projects. She then moved to Accenture, to the Strategy Area of the Financial Services Practice, where she handled business plans and the reengineering of organizational models for leading customers in the Financial Services area.

Michele Svidercoschi

Chief Communications and Institutional Relations Officer

Born in Rome in 1961, graduate of Political Sciences at Università La Sapienza in Rome, professional journalist.

Since October 2014 he has been AlmavivA's Chief Communications and Institutional Relations Officer.

In June 2016 he was elected Auditor by the General Assembly of Assinform, the association grouping the main information technology companies operating in Italy.

In 2014, he acted as institutional communications adviser to the Deputy Minister of Infrastructure and Transport.

From 2012 to 2013 he was the manager of institutional relations at LA7 and a member of the "Media and Children Committee" of the Ministry of Economic Development.

From 2010 to 2012 he was a Telecom Italia Media consultant for relations with entities and institutions in the radio and television industry.

From 2005 to 2010 he was vice head and then head of the Lazio region presidential cabinet office.

From 1999 to 2005 he worked for Vodafone Italia, where he was responsible for institutional communications for central Italy, relations with local institutions in central and southern Italy, and institutional relations in central Italy.

From 1996 to 1999, first at Rai and then Mediaset, he worked on current affairs information management and analysis, covering social, political and parliamentary matters.

From 1990 to 1995 he was adviser, councillor for culture, and vice president of the Lazio regional council.
