This afternoon the Temple of Hadrian and the Chamber of Commerce of Rome will host a conference in which industry experts and representatives of companies and institutions will gather to discuss the ASTRID report, a study on the future of transportation infrastructure in Italy, conducted in collaboration with Almaviva, FSI, Autostrade per l'Italia, We Build, ANCE, F2i, and Fillea CGIL.

The objective of the event, featuring the participation of Deputy Minister of Infrastructure and Transportation Edoardo Rixi, is to facilitate an in-depth discussion on Italy’s future transportation infrastructure needs, with a particular focus on the environmental, social, and economic challenges that will characterize the coming decades and on the changing global geopolitical and economic landscape.

In addition to Minister Rixi and former ministers Costa, Bassanini, and Giovannini, the following will speak at the convention: the General Manager of Almaviva’s Transportation & Logistics Division, Smeraldo Fiorentini; the President of ANCE, Federica Brancaccio; the CEOs of Autostrade per l'Italia and WE Build, Roberto Tomasi and Pietro Salini; the Secretary General of Fillea CGIL Alessandro Genovesi; the former heads of the Technical Mission Structure of MIT, Ennio Cascetta and Ercole Incalza; professors Maurizio Maresca, Mario Sebastiani, and Pietro Spirito; the senior advisor of Nomisma, Gualtiero Tamburini; and the Chief Technology & Digital Officer of Ferrovie dello Stato, Roberto Tundo.
