Top officials gathered yesterday at the “La Nuvola” Congress Center in Rome to kick off the celebrations for the 250th anniversary of the foundation of the Guardia di Finanza, commemorating a journey towards the future, guided by the values and traditions that have always accompanied and inspired the agency.

Almaviva is among the sponsors of the event, the opening of which was attended by Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni and during which the logo specially designed for this anniversary was unveiled, along with the motto “The future in tradition”. The evening was introduced by Alberto Angela who, with the help of images and memorabilia from the Guardia di Finanza’s History Museum, recounted the agency’s evolution over the years. After the institutional greetings, the Commander General, Army Corps General Andrea De Gennaro, announced the program of celebratory events that will be held in various Italian cities in the coming months.
