“Connecting the Dots: Moving Toward a National Healthcare Plan”: Almaviva supports the Health, Wellbeing, and Resilience Observatory. New Report Presented Tomorrow

21-02-2024

The new annual report of the Bruno Visentini Foundation’s Health, Wellbeing, and Resilience Observatory will be presented tomorrow at the Italian Senate’s Palazzo Giustiniani and via live streaming. The project, supported by Almaviva, is dedicated to the current state of our healthcare system and its potential evolution towards more accessible healthcare.

One of the topics discussed will be the One Health approach, which recognizes the interconnection between the health of people, animals, and the environment, and proposes an integrated view in order to holistically address health threats. Interoperability, investments in research and innovation, training, and interaction between multidisciplinary professionals are necessary and desirable elements.

“With a One Health approach," comments Giovanni Di Nardo Head of Digital Healthcare, “Almaviva has created a platform with which to support the digital transformation process, capable of analyzing and integrating data from different sectors - air, water, soil - and their impact on human health. The goal is to collect data that can be used to measure, manage, and plan national healthcare and to make sure we aren’t unprepared to manage emergencies.”
