“We are experiencing the seventh transportation revolution: decarbonization, digitalization, and the birth of new mobility services and technologies applied to transportation networks. These are the most important and fundamental topics for the National Center for Sustainable Mobility. Almaviva is developing MOST activities with MOOVA, a platform dedicated to mobility and infrastructure, but which also has the ability to understand trends in innovation as well as technological and specialized domain skills.” These were the words of Dario Ferrillo, Chief Innovation Officer for Almaviva, speaking at yesterday's meeting: “Digital Transition and Future in Motion” Almaviva and MOST: from Urban Mobility to Connected Networks.

The meeting, held in the demo area of the Almaviva headquarters in Casal Boccone, was an opportunity to take stock of research and innovation activities applied to urban mobility and smart infrastructures within the context of Spokes 7 and 9 of the National Center for Sustainable Mobility. Engineer Gianmarco Montanari kicked off the day’s agenda, full of speeches and demos, in which Prof. Cino Bifulco Federico II of Naples, Spoke 7 Leader, and Prof. Gaetano Fusco of La Sapienza University of Rome, Spoke 9 Leader, also participated.
