Almaviva is among the partners of the Internet of Things Observatory of the Politecnico di Milano’s School of Management, established in 2011 to investigate the real opportunities of IoT by combining technological and managerial perspectives, in a context still uncertain about market needs, potential applications, and actual benefits.

"Thanks to its widespread presence and the development of solutions and platforms that enable the Internet of Things, Almaviva ensures the establishment of smart cities by adopting the Smart Cities paradigm." These were the words of Andrea De Angelis, Head of Internet of Things, Solution Architecture, & Asset Design for Almaviva, who was present in Milan at Smart Home Reloaded: Time to Innovate on a Solid Foundation, the observatory’s conference dedicated to presenting the figures of the Smart Home market in Italy and abroad.
