The dynamics of the digital market are still on the rise. Its performance surpasses that of the economy as a whole and will exceed €90 billion by 2026.

The digital market once again confirmed itself to be in good health in 2023. While estimates for the Italian GDP indicate a slowdown, with only marginal growth (just a few decimals), the digital market is expected to show a much more constant increase over the last twelve months (+2.8%), with ICT Services (+9%), digital content and advertising (+5.9) and ICT Software and Solutions (+5.8%) driving the entire sector.

“Despite the instability of the economic and geopolitical scenario, the rising cost of money, the volatility of the price of raw materials, and other factors affecting growth prospects, the digital market maintains a central role in guiding and advancing the country along the dual track of innovation and economic development.” Thus commented Marco Gay, President of Anitec-Assinform, the Confindustria Association that brings together the primary ICT companies in Italy, regarding publication of the “Digital Technology in Italy” report, conducted in collaboration with NetConsulting Cube and presented today in Rome.
