“The Italian AI company, Almaviva, set to double its revenue”: CEO Marco Tripi in L'Economia del Corriere della Sera

“The country has enormous potential. We are investing more in new technology.” These were the words of Marco Tripi, CEO of the Almaviva Group, interviewed by Fabio Sottocornola in l'Economia del Corriere della Sera.

Almaviva is aiming for a turnover of €2 billion (from €1.2 billion last year) by 2026, half of which will be generated abroad and with a margin of 20%. “Today it’s already at 18.3% and we’re among the first in Europe in our sector. Beyond our longstanding presence in Italy and Brazil, our business will continue to expand in the US, Saudi Arabia, and Africa.

We’re certain that diversifying markets and becoming more international is the most effective response to the complex geopolitical scenarios we’ve been experiencing in recent years,” said Marco Tripi.

“Our net financial position to debt ratio is less than 1% and the S&P has raised our rating to above that of our competitors. Profitability is the group’s guiding principle.”

“We were among the first to believe in artificial intelligence, so much so that in 2021 we listed the subsidiary Almawave on the EGM market (formerly AIM) in Piazza Affari and since then revenues have doubled.”

Mobility, healthcare, and water systems: these are three of the business areas in which Almaviva's solutions are being deployed, along with tourism after the recent purchase of the Spanish company Mabrian (specializing in travel intelligence and data analytics solutions).
