A leading company in the national market for passenger information systems on board trains, Sadel is involved in the standardization of cybersecurity in the railway sector by the IEC-International Electrotechnical Commission, the world's leading organization for the preparation and publication of standards for all electrical and electronic technologies.

The IEC TC9 PT63452 Hybrid Workshop kicks off today in Vienna, a three-day event in which Davide Amato, head of SADEL’s Standards & Technical Committees, will participate in a working group composed of 110 experts representing the primary railway operators, infrastructure managers, train manufacturers, and system integrators from 19 countries and 4 continents. The objective is to develop the international standard IEC 63452, continuing what CENELEC TC9X WG26 began with the publication of the European technical specification CLC/TS50701 in 2021.
